This Oil Cooler Kit Is For F series .
I have had higher quality gaskets made for this application to eliminate the splitting that some folks have had with the thin OE and Aftermarket gaskets. I have had higher quality gaskets made for this application to eliminate the splitting that some folks have had with the thin OE and Aftermarket gaskets. They are custom die-cut gaskets that are substantially thicker than OEM.
The green O-Rings are OEM Ford
The Smaller are Viton for better heat resistance.
I recommend spraying both gaskets with high tack on the block side and using Aviation sealer or Red Anerobic on the the header side.
Do Not use RTV of any type.
